Steph Cop - caminoblu4363, premier chemin

" caminoblu est l’histoire d’un chemin de traverse à la recherche d’un arbre tombé depuis 20 années. On dit qu’un papillon bleu suit ce chemin. Le photographe et reporter Bálint m’accompagne dans cette forêt enchanteresse, à la recherche de l’arbre tombé où la nature sauvage prédomine. C’est une jeune forêt sèche, typique du Guanacaste. Elle s’est développée en si peu de temps sur d’anciennes terres agricoles. La nature a repris ses droits et seuls quelques vestiges d’arbres fruitiers trônent au milieu des lianes emblématiques de la jungle. La faune sauvage se réimplante et on y trouve de nombreuses espèces de mammifères, reptiles, insectes, aranéides, sans oublier les oiseaux magnifiques. Cette forêt peut paraître majestueuse mais, au fond, elle n’a rien de spectaculaire, elle est vivante et aujourd’hui preservée."

"caminoblu is the story of taking the road less travelled to find a tree that had fallen 20 years earlier. A blue butterfly is said to blaze the trail. Photojournalist Bálint accompanied me in this enchanted forest, seeking the fallen tree in the midst of prevailing wild nature. It is a young tropical dry forest, typical of the Guanacaste Province, and seems monumental in light of its short 40 years of growth on former farmland. Wild nature has taken hold anew, with a few vestiges of fruit trees rising up amidst the vines that are emblematic of the jungle trails; wildlife is increasing, with many species of mammals, reptiles, insects, spiders and of course magnificent birds. This forest is not spectacular; it is alive and now preserved."
