"IX Arbre", is a work devoted to the IX movement in the work of Steph.Cop. The sculptor invited the photographer Bálint Pörneczi to cross their artistic singularities to bring a look at the imaginary that fed this major cycle of Steph Cop's work between 2008 and 2020, from the peregrinations in the forest, a dreamlike source of inspiration, the workshop in the Morvan, the creative gestures, to the search for the soul of the sculpted tree represented in the 9 ARO forms that order the movement. From this meeting, photographs, writings, and traces of a history inscribed in the material give a glimpse of the inseparable between the artist, his place, and the work.
